Hello! My name is Hélène Desrochers. For over 40 years, sewing and design have been an essential part of my life. Even though I studied business administration and communication, my love for fashion and craftsmanship never left me.

Today, Belle de Plage is the realization of this lifelong passion—a brand dedicated to enhancing women’s beauty and confidence through custom-made swimsuits.

 

Why Swimsuits?

The idea behind Belle de Plage was born from a personal experience. One day, after an unsuccessful shopping trip, I realized just how limited the swimsuit options were for women my age and size.

I came to a simple conclusion:

• Every woman, regardless of age or body type, deserves to feel beautiful and confident in a swimsuit.

• A swimsuit should not just be clothing; it should celebrate individuality and comfort.
